Evaluates the City's annual marketing and media plans, participates in the creation of an annual marketing budget, including review of all print and electronic media advertising and collateral materials, and makes recommendations for special events requesting financial support from the City. Consists of up to seven members appointed by the Public Affairs Manager and a City Council Subcommittee. Advisory to the Public Affairs Manager with virtual meeting flexibility and Brown Act-equivalent transparency requirements. Replaced the former Marketing Committee by ordinance (Ord. dissolving Marketing Committee, approved 5-0).
