Advisory board to the Hendersonville City Council on matters pertaining to the Main Street Municipal Service District and 7th Avenue Municipal Service District. Formed by merging the Downtown Mainstreet Advisory and Seventh Avenue Advisory Committees in 2021. Implements the National Main Street Center's Four Point Approach for historic preservation-based economic development. The board consists of 16 members: 5 Main Street MSD stakeholders, 5 Seventh Avenue MSD stakeholders, 4–6 at-large members, and 1 City Council liaison (non-voting). An active member of the North Carolina Main Street Program.
