Citizens' Finance Advisory Commission
The Citizens' Finance Advisory Commission consists of five citizen members, each appointed by a member of the City Council, serving in a manner consistent with Municipal Code Section 32.01. Appointees must be residents of the City and may not be elected officials, City employees, or vendors/contractors/consultants doing business with the City. The City Treasurer serves as an ex-officio member. Commission members help oversee expenditures related to tax measures S and X to ensure they are used for voter-approved purposes. The commission is facilitated by the Finance Director.
