Advisory body of the City of Palm Springs consisting of seven members appointed by the City Council. The Board reviews and approves VillageFest vendors, interprets and applies rules and regulations approved by the City Council, suspends or revokes permits, and advises the City Council on matters relating to VillageFest. Members must be current retail merchants, have significant retail experience, or one member may represent the community-wide tourism industry. Staff support is provided by the VillageFest Coordinator assigned to the Parks and Recreation Department.
