Town Council
The legislative body of the Town of Fairfax, California, responsible for setting Town policy, adopting ordinances and land use regulations, and approving the annual operating and capital improvement budget. The Council appoints the Town Manager and Town Attorney as well as members of Town commissions, boards, and advisory committees.

Regular meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., except in January and July, when the regular meeting dates are set by resolution each year to avoid conflicts with the New Year's and Independence Day holidays. Special meetings and study sessions are held occasionally.
