Central San Earns Eighth Consecutive Budget Award, Outpaces Peers in Benchmarking

The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) Board of Directors received a pair of reports reinforcing the district's operational standing — an eighth straight national budget honor and a multi-year benchmarking study showing Central San outperforming peer agencies in nearly two-thirds of measured categories. The board also learned that two industrial users, including repeat offender BART, tripped federal non-compliance standards before correcting course.
